Natural Art paintings in Rocks
Paleolithic Era Arts Techniques were mortal used since the Paleolithic Era (Stone Age - 40,000 years ago). Several Sculptures, Cave Paintings, Drilled Snail Shells (from S. Africa) were established in excavations. The Technique of Art used throughout that period were, Carving (mainly on bones & stones) and Paintings (on the walls of caves).
The color used in those days included Blood, Charcoal, Soil, Juices of Flower Petals, and Leaves. Mesolithic Era in the Mesolithic Period (Middle Stone Age), art forms changed due to environmental developments and people's adaptations to these changes. But it was severely useful than artistic. As Arrowhead was made-up, most of the art works were in Carving. Pointed Tools made from Flint, Obsidian, and extra Minerals were used.
Cave Paintings moved out of Caves to the surfaces of natural Rocks. Neolithic Era original Art Techniques emerged in this era. These include Weaving, Architecture, and the structure of Megaliths to mention a few.

Dean of American Landscape Painters
Thomas Moran was born in Bolton, England, his family moved to America seeking economic opportunity in a new land. Moran became an apprentice at a Philadelphia engraving firm but later began working in the studio of his older brother who began to establish himself as a marine painter.
Moran had a life-long interest in the work of English artist J.M.W. Turner and was described by contemporaries as the "American Turner". His trip to Yellowstone in 1871 marked the turning point of his career. He continued to return to the Grand Canyon and more extensively in Arizona and New Mexico, producing a number of striking paintings of the pueblos at Acoma and Laguna. Extraordinarily productive, both as a painter and an etcher, Moran continued to work well into his eighth decade.
At his death in Santa Barbara, California, he was memorialized as the "Dean of American Landscape Painters

Birds in Oil Paintings
Passionately to color and am particularly lured by simple yet sensual organic forms and the exciting realm of vibrant colors, shapes and textures found in nature. My work is collected in a very conscientious and exacting process. Color is built up from the full spectrum, foundation with violets, then blues, etc., and finally highlighting to bird hints of original color showing through. The glazing process is repeated to distill glow.

Jude Griebel Art-Paintings
Jude Griebel is a Montreal-based artist, and his work focuses on the concession of identity through narrative imagery, drawn from both story bound and biographical contexts. His paintings show individuals in allegorical and mystical situations, imbuing everyday settings with otherworldly significance. Figures are typically depict in states of vanishing, suggesting escape and disengagement from the realities of life. The liminal impression of these works pays honor to the transitory and mythological settings of picture book illustration, archival spirit photography, and dramatic stage design.

Creating nature in Oil paintings
Oil painting is the process of painting with pigments that are clear with a medium of drying oil — particularly in early modern Europe, linseed oil. Often oil such as linseed was boiled with a resin such as pine resin or still frankincense; these were called 'varnishes' and were award-winning for their body and gloss. Other oils occasionally used include poppy seed oil, walnut oil, and safflower oil. These oils confer various properties to the oil paint, such as less yellowing or different aeration times. Certain differences are also visible in the sheen of the paints depending on the oil. Painters often use different oils in the same painting depending on specific pigments and effects beloved. The paints themselves as well develop a particular feel depending on the medium.

Twins Charming Expression
In this image, I intensify the coloring on the boy’s skin. I added a gloom of a darker color in their hair. On the edge of the painting, I determined to add a shade of brown umber to warm the painting’s overall look. It is a beautiful painting.
The coloring in this painting is very soft and slight. I am working to carry in beautiful hues of color that imitate on their skin, not just the natural skin color, but crimsons, yellow ocher’s, and subtle blues. The children are rendered in this painting at simply three months old. They are very beautiful. I am working to capture their charming and watchful expressions.

Original Babushka Art Doll Necklace
This funky art necklace is creative, one-of-a-kind wearable work of art! This cute Russian nesting doll, also known as a Matryoshka or Babushka doll, was hand-drawn by me on top of plastic, which was then sealed on both sides for security. The back of the locket was coated with shiny gold sparkles.
This pendant comes all set to wear on a black cord with variable sliding knots, so this necklace will fit most sizes. Personally, I prefer these adjustable cords, because it means you can wear the necklace as tight or loose as you similar to! However if you wish to use your own series or cord, the included cord is easily removable.
I've included some photos of the necklace worn on a model, so you can get thought of what the necklace looks like when worn.
Although the pendant has been thoroughly sealed for protection, please reminder that it is not waterproof and must not be worn while showering or swimming.
This pendant is already complete (as opposed to being made-to-order), so you can rest guaranteed that what you are buying is the item shown above.

Oil paintings on Halloween Season
Halloween is the concise excuse for dressing up in something weird or wonderful, and face painting the perfect way to complete your costume. If you've never done any face painting before, these tips will help you get started thinking and planning.
Perhaps the most important thing is to use quality paints that have been tested to ensure they're safe and have been created for face painting. Face painting is a fun activity, and can be a very rewarding business, just make safety a fundamental part of how you're working.
There are many quality of safe face paint readily available, such as Snazaroo, Wolfe Brothers, Fardel, Mehron, and Kryolan. Look for it at art supplies stores, costume shops, and toy stores.
If you're utterly new to face painting, a basic ghost is a really easy design to paint. Lots of white as a base color, then some black around the eyes/tip of the nose, and a mean-looking sneer around the mouth can be very effective.

Anyone Can Try A Simple Thread Painting
So let’s see, what is thread painting all about? Thread painting, or free-motion machine embroidery, is a unique way of embellishing your quilts by “painting” the images on your quilt top, clothing or anywhere your imagination takes you.
Thread painting might look complicated, but it is actually very simple. No advanced skills are necessary and the best part is that no special machine is required. I call it my anyone-can-do-it approach.
There are two methods to thread paint my designs. The first is the tulle sandwich method which consists of two layers of tulle sandwiched between two layers of water soluble stabilizer film. The second is the direct method which consists of,

Displaying a Good Set of Values Using Oil Painting?
Establishing a good variety of values within an oil painting is just as important. However, the added element of hue and the possibilities within it, make it harder for the novice painter to discern different values among changing colors. This is because certain colors have intrinsic values different than others.
Mounting a good set of values that spans from dark to light is one of the key elements of art. When working in pencil or charcoal, it is easier to recognize the scale of values because of the monochromatic qualities of drawing.
If you would like to process your understanding of values through painting, all you need to do is simplify. In as much as it is easier to discern different values in pencil because of the elimination of color, it too is easier to learn the same while oil painting just by simplifying the palette to a monochromatic one.

Fabulous Illusion Paintings Using Hands
A painter with facts of some years of painting in his or her pocket would like to do an artwork that depicts some perspective. After getting some mastery in the field of painting, the artists would try his or her hand in creating a perspective illusion in their paintings, too.
This type hand illusion painting is done in the style of creating perspective illusionism. In this style of painting, an artist try blurring blurs the boundary between the real space and the fictitious space that we can observe on a canvas. In this painting we see a very realistic figure, a boy trying to jump out of a window. But by creating the perspective illusion, the painter has succeeded in converting this two dimensional painting into a three dimensional one.

Hand Painting still in life
The real reason to opt for oil painting lies in its ease and quickness of its application. You can use the oil painting even if you want to make some random sketches for developing them in final painting after wards. Apart from the luxury of having comfort in using the watercolors, these colors allow freedom to apply the transparent effects that is crucial in making a painting artistically valuable.
When an artist looks upon a scene, immediately a special kind of visual experience is generated in her or his mental sphere. If this experience is caught in colors within a short period of time, it can be recorded with more authenticity and liveliness. Here the artist needs a medium that can be applied with delicacy; watercolors provides the artists with such an opportunity where she or he can use brushes loaded wet colors and loaded with elegance. Such a facility, such a luxury is hardly available while using oil colors as the oil colors take its own time to dry.

Oil Painting during Times of Disaster
A familiar Spanish painter of the time, Picasso was asked to produce a piece of art to decorate the Spanish Pavilion in the Paris World Fair in 1937. Responding to the attack by means of his painting, he created a large mural depicting the horror of the bombing of Guernica that he titled Guernica.
The painting has become a fascination not only for the sensation it portrays, but also for the symbolism and hidden meanings throughout the massive mural and focusing on the secret images within the mural and how they allow the painting to delve even further into the horrors of war.
From the paintings influences creeping through all kinds of art created during airplane crash. This shows how it badly gets affected and people might be troubled. Otto Dix was an expressionist from Germany whose paintings spoke loudly of the terror of war and the living conditions of the time.

How Art Can Generate Positive Feelings?
Everyone wants a home that is not just a home, but a heaven. How can you create a warm, positive atmosphere in your living space that will make you, your family, and your guests feel comfortable and happy?
If you wish to create a peaceful mood, nature scenes are one of the easiest ways to do so. Landscape Paintings or photographs can evoke many positive feelings. If you want to create an exceptionally calm mood in a particular room of your home, you might consider a still life, which is a painting of a single object or group of objects, often a flower or fruit.
If you love to laugh, try amusing posters or paintings and photographs of animals, many of which are very funny.

Abstraction through Nature Sources in Oil Painting
Nature has always been one of the favored sources of inspiration for oil painters since oil colors were invented. Objects in nature have born in them an aesthetic beauty from afar, but even more so from a very close up point of view. An organic object, no matter what size, can provide the ultimate inspiration for an oil painting even when just the tiniest portion of it is the focus.
We are exceedingly fortunate to be surrounded by such an inspiring force as nature. The resources for a great abstract painting are all around us. Even if a natural object is chosen completely arbitrarily, or a combination thereof will always prove to open the creative oil painter toward astonishing abstract imagery. So, grab a mushroom, a rock, a pinecone, or even your dog! The potential lying within nature is limitless.

Guidelines to empower your oil paintings
If you have a time getting the paint off of your hands, baby oil or olive oil works really well. Wear rubber gloves, then you need not worry about the paint getting on your hands.
A great thing to begin with is to use primary colors to create various shades of gray from white to black, and paint in black and white. This gives you a chance to know the value and contrast.
The thinner/oil mix up seems to last longer than just the thinner between cleaning, and when it gets really cloudy, it doesn't split.
Try to make a painting using only your palette knife to paint with it and the results are so interesting. When painting outside, make sure that your canvas and your palette are not in direct sunlight. It is better to shade your canvas and palette because if you paint with the canvas in direct sunlight, it will cause you to mix your colors wrongly.
A limited palette is suggested when painting outside as well. You can mix the colors you need and need not drag all of your paints out into the field.

Oil Painting - How to Shun Your Mistakes Easily
Oil painting is the most admired style among all the painting styles. But there are certain things that will ruin your art work, if you are not aware of those things. You will be happy knowing that most of the mistakes can be repaired easily if you follow some basic rules.
Cracking is one of the defects you commonly find in oil paintings. This defect occurs because the bottom layer of the painting contains more drying oil as compared to the top layer. In case the top layer contains too many solvents then it will dry very fast and become more brittle than bottom layer. To avoid this defect make sure you apply the paint properly on all the layers and give proper time to them to dry.
The main cause of a dull finish in the painting is the improper ratio of drying oils in paint and solvents. Generally, it happens when the amount of solvent is more in the painting. Make sure to use prime oil paint for avoiding this kind of sinking effect in your art work.
