It shows a young boy in the background looking into the lens while implementation the camera, and a little girl in the foreground with her hand on the frame with fingers outer surface of what would be the natural boundaries of a posed environment. This historian has optional that the view we see is in fact that of a lanternslide as it would shown in painted form, thus the name, and the slight humour in combination the two discoveries in the same picture.
