At that time life got in the way, marriage and kids came along and he stopped up painting. Jim received his M.S. in Architectural Engineering starting UT Austin in 1968 and worked for IBM for 30 years. He only began painting once more about 5 years ago.I have painted in acrylics and watercolors, but regularly oils. I do it for enjoyment and am now allowing for selling some of my art. I enjoy painting architectural buildings, still lifes, and most recently started portraits and "life" scenery.
Jim won the Paint Out competition gather Moon Festival, and was chosen artist of the month for "Cousins in the loft," a image of his 3 granddaughters playing dressup.
Jim currently lives in Pecan agricultural estate in Granbury and has been marital for 42 years. In adding to his painting, he also started a home structure business. So much for a laid back departure.
